About

Middle Temple

June Warwick was called to the Bar in   2009.  She has appeared as a junior or leading junior defending in cases involving serious criminal allegations ranging from murder to serious fraud offences.

In recent years, June has developed particular experience in serious fraud cases including substantial money laundering as well as confiscation and restraint. June has advised and defended individuals and companies facing allegations of fraud and money laundering and is finding herself increasingly instructed at pre - charge stage for early advice, advising on disclosure, and forming a case plan through negotiation and the best possible use of correspondence. Her experience from over 15 years of experience in practice is highly sought for tactical advice.

Having been at the Criminal Bar for 15 years June has an extremely successful practice in all areas of crime and is highly regarded by all who instruct her.  She has considerable skill in defending in multi-handed cases and has particular expertise in putting together small expert teams of relevant professionals to solve problems with a criminal dimension without recourse to the courts.

Experience

Prior to being admitted to the bar June worked in house for a firm of solicitors for 10 years as a paralegal and was accredited to attend police stations.  With this background June brings a wealth of experience.

June can cut through legal jargon and complicated points of law to communicate with clients in language they can easily understand.  This skill is particularly appreciated by clients with no experience of the Criminal Justice System, as is her attention to detail and service ethic.

June also has considerable experience in defending individuals charged with allegations of murder, drug smuggling, firearms offences and people trafficking.

June is actively involved in pro bono work providing talks on ethics and diversity and is a regular ‘Guest Speaker’ at charity and legal events.
